going home

last night landon got to watch the hokies win! today (sunday) landon got to come home to his room. he was soon greeted by more family. both his aunt allison, uncle ed, aunt sherry and cousins grayson, jackson, cole, ryan and abby all came to see him. quite an exciting day for the big man. mommy and daddy are not looking forward to feeding him during the middle of the night as the last two nights have not be the most restful nights of our lives. oh well that is what has to be done. soon enough we shall have a baby-wise baby and he will be sleeping through the night!

well as i was typing up the last post thinking we had plenty of time to get it done lara quickly went to 10cm at 210am just as the midwife walked in the door. so needless i had to put away the computer and start helping. i was part of the process as the midwife directed and got things in place and, keishe' and myself each held a leg. after 30 minutes of pushing at 245am landon ryan hull came into this world. 8.0 pounds 19.75in. soon after landon was greeted by his gran, aunt neri, brook, bailey, me me and pop pop. lara and i finally got back to the room around 5am that morning. i got about an hour of sleep but lara did not have any until the next night. yes we were both tired!

on the way!

around 915pm lara started loosing her water! quickly contractions began and become regular. we quickly finished gathering the last few things and i placed them in the car and got sadie ready to go to me me and pop pop's. we dropped her off around 1015pm and left for the hospital around 1035. i droped lara off at the emergency entrance since it was after dark. i hustled to the parking garage and brought all the gear with me back to the emergency entrance and lara was escorted to the 8th floor to her room in a wheel chair (which she said she didn't need but...)

at the time the nurse got her in the gown and checked out she was 4 cm and contractions were getting strong. after a while of sitting up and bearing the contractions lara decided she wanted to walk. that didn't last to long and we were back to the room to sit on the bed again. at that point lara asked for the epidural which was preformed at 100am. At this point lara was 8cm. she is now resting and waiting for the midwife to arrive. the baby boy should be here soon!!!

sadie & dino

sadie got a new stuffed animal on sunday, dino the dinosaur. she has bonded rather well as they take their naps and go to bed time together now. dino replaced mr frog which wore out rather fast for a "pet designed" toy. hopefully dino will fill the void left by bunny (her personal favorite) when she was torn open after almost two years of faithful friendship!

i shot my first deer on saturday at 0750. it was a clean shot through both lungs and the heart.
