I can't believe our little guy is 1 already! This year flew by! He's walking better and better every day and looking so big. Now when people comment on him when we're out they say, "what a cute little boy" instead of "what a cute baby". :( How did that happen? He has grown up so fast.
He is such a joy to us :D We're looking forward to all the years ahead.

Our trip to Louisiana

Steve and I went to Louisiana with some friends to see the VT vs. LSU game. We had a great time up until the game :( VT did not do so well.
Landon stayed home with MeMe, PopPop on Friday and part of Sunday. With Neri, Gran, Brooke and Baliee on Saturday and part of Sunday. He didn't seem to miss us at all. He was very excited when we came home.
Steve and I visited New Orleans on Friday, and tailgated most of the day on Saturday with our friends. It was a great trip.

Landon's first trip to the beach

We had a great time at the beach! Landon loved all the action. He was not afraid of the ocean at all and loved jumping the waves. Trying to keep him from eating the sand was a chore at times.
The hotel had this really cool baby pool. One end was 3" of water and the other end was 2". Landon loved crawling around in it and walking around the edge.

We went to a friend's Birthday Party this weekend and it was so much fun. It was a Country theme with square dancing. We had a ball!

4th of July

We had some friends over to cookout for lunch. They have a 1 1/2 year old and a 7 week old, so cute! Later that day we went by the neighbor's house to see her baby tiger. He was really cute! Landon was freaked out by it. Each time we set him down he would squeal and then cry. That evening several neighbors set off some pretty great fireworks. Landon slept through 30 minutes of fireworks, how i don't know b/c they were LOUD! Once he woke up we brought him out to watch. He liked them, but was scared at the same time.

Landon attended his first Birthday party today

It was Nigel's 1st Birthday party and it was so much fun. We had story time and sing along time. Then pizza and cake. Landon was in heaven with all the people and activity.

Brooke and Baliee's visit

Lara's nieces came to stay with us for a week. It was so good having them. They helped out a lot with Landon! We'll miss them very much!!! But, they will be back in July :D

We went to visit Lara's family this past weekend. It was the first time many of them had met Landon. We went there for Tiffany's (Lara's cousin) baby shower. We had a very nice time.

It was a great day! Steve has been out of town, but got back today :) We went out to Outback for dinner.

Landon is growing like a weed!!

Landon is now 6 weeks old and he's growing so fast. At his 4 week appointment he was 9lbs 4oz. I can't wait to see how much he weighs at his 8 week appointment on January 17th, I bet he's well over 10lbs.
Landon has been pulling some 5 1/2 and 6 1/2 hour stretches at night, it is so nice to get some long stretches of sleep :)

Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas!! We spent Christmas Eve with Steve's family here in Charlotte and then drove to VA to be with Lara's family. Landon had fun being held my all his Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Grandparents.
